Job Overview

The AI Developer designs, builds, and integrates AI models into applications to solve complex problems and enhance functionality. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, model development, testing, and optimization, along with close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities

1. AI Model Development:
   • Design, build, and train AI models using machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
   • Develop algorithms for tasks such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
2. Data Collection and Preprocessing:
   • Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets for use in AI models.
   • Use data augmentation techniques to enhance model performance and accuracy.
3. Model Evaluation and Optimization:
   • Test models for accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
   • Optimize algorithms to reduce latency and improve scalability.
4. Integration with Applications:
   • Integrate AI models into applications or products, ensuring seamless performance.
   • Develop APIs or services to allow easy model access within applications.
5. Research and Innovation:
   • Stay updated on the latest AI research and apply new techniques to improve existing models.
   • Experiment with emerging technologies to explore potential applications in the field.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to align AI solutions with business goals.
   • Communicate technical aspects of AI models and results to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Testing and Debugging:
   • Implement rigorous testing to ensure model accuracy and reliability.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines or model performance.
8. Security and Ethics:
   • Ensure data privacy and compliance with ethical standards in AI development.
   • Develop models that minimize bias and follow ethical AI practices.
9. Continuous Improvement:
   • Monitor model performance post-deployment and make adjustments as needed.
   • Gather feedback and iterate on models to enhance user experience and functionality.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, R, or Java; experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Math & Statistics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
• Data Handling: Experience with data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Model Development: Skilled in building and deploying ML and deep learning models.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and optimization skills.
• Cloud Knowledge: Familiar with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git.
• Communication: Ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Learning: Passion for AI trends and emerging tech.

Preferred

• Advanced Education: Master’s degree or AI certifications.
• Experience: 3+ years in AI/ML development for production environments.
• Technical Depth: Expertise in both machine learning and deep learning models.
• Advanced Skills: Proficiency in NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with model deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud using CI/CD.
